5 Brilliant Dividend Stocks to Buy Now and Hold for the Long Term Looking for a way to boost your passive income? Dividend stocks might just be your golden ticket. fool.com - 4 days ago
BDC Shuffle: The Stock To Drop And The Stock To Shop BDCs have performed unexpectedly well this year. Despite the growing uncertainty in the system and high probabilities for incremental base rate cuts, the BDC index is up on a YTD basis. This is not the right setup for being aggressive here. seekingalpha.com - 5 days ago
Some Of The Best Big Dividend Machines To Buy And Hold 'Forever' We discuss the single most important metric to look for in stocks that you plan to buy and hold for the long term. We share two opportunities that yield ~7%, which score very high on this metric. We detail other reasons why these are great big dividend machines to buy and hold for the long term as well. seekingalpha.com - 6 days ago
8%-Yielding Portfolio: Building The Near-Perfect Dividend Snowball We discuss the secrets to building a near-perfect dividend snowball. We discuss many of the best dividend machines for building a dividend snowball portfolio. We share a model portfolio that yields 8% and should not only provide sustainable income, but also grow its dividends over time. seekingalpha.com - 6 days ago
A BDC Pair Trade Opportunity By Hecrules Capital And Ares Capital HTGC and ARCC, both top BDCs, show a current mispricing, with HTGC now undervalued relative to ARCC after a sharp premium correction. HTGC maintains superior long-term and recent NAV total returns compared to ARCC, and credit assessments show no portfolio concern. Pair trade opportunities exist: long HTGC/short ARCC if you expect HTGC's premium to recover, or long BIZD/short ARCC for sector mean reversion. seekingalpha.com - 1 week ago
Ares Capital (ARCC) Rises Higher Than Market: Key Facts In the closing of the recent trading day, Ares Capital (ARCC) stood at $23.06, denoting a +1.36% move from the preceding trading day. zacks.com - 1 week ago
High Yields, Weird Prices Similar preferred shares trade at materially different prices. One of these preferred shares is surprisingly expensive. One of the best BDCs is nearing an incredibly rare threshold. seekingalpha.com - 1 week ago
Ares Capital: Paying A Small Premium For The Gold Standard In BDC's Is Well Worth It ARCC is the largest BDC by net assets and NII, making it a gold standard for income investors, especially as rate cuts approach. Despite not having the highest yield or lowest valuation, ARCC's robust dividend history and strong risk management justify its premium to NAV. Q1 saw $3.5B in new investments and 92% in first lien senior secured loans, positioning ARCC for growth and stability in a lower-rate environment. seekingalpha.com - 1 week ago
Ares Capital: Strategic Scale And Sustainable Yield I maintain a bullish 'Buy' rating on Ares Capital due to its market leadership, diversified offerings, and resilience amid improving macroeconomic conditions. Q1 2025 results show revenue growth, controlled expenses, and improving margins, despite a one-off net income dip from debt extinguishment. ARCC's diversified portfolio, strong risk management, and stable, high dividend yield make it an attractive long-term investment. seekingalpha.com - 1 week ago
Ares Capital Is My Largest BDC Holding For A Reason ARCC remains my largest BDC holding due to its resilience in uncertain times and diversified, high-quality portfolio of sizeable businesses. The company's lower exposure to floating-rate debt and meaningful equity investments help stabilize income despite falling interest rates. Non-accruals remain low and portfolio concentration is modest, supporting sustainable dividends and reduced risk of defaults. seekingalpha.com - 1 week ago
Ares Capital: It's Time To Finally Hold Back Your Optimism (Rating Downgrade) ARCC is a leading BDC, but April's volatility and looming trade uncertainties warrant vigilance as we approach key trade negotiation deadlines. Core earnings are still expected to cover dividends, with management's spillover income and low leverage providing stability and investment firepower to deploy. Yet, ARCC's premium valuation, and potential Fed rate cuts could limit further upside, lowering its risk/reward appeal markedly. seekingalpha.com - 1 week ago
Correction Alert: Ares Capital Getting Risky ARCC has one of the most impressive track records of any BDC out there. However, it is getting increasingly risky. I detail why I am downgrading it to Sell. seekingalpha.com - 1 week ago
