Ares Capital: Best Of Breed BDC Proving The Skeptics Wrong Over the past couple of months there has been an increased negative chatter around the quality of ARCC's fundamentals. For example, the high second-lien exposure and weakening economy sounds like a perfect recipe for surging non-accruals. As a result of this, ARCC's P/NAV premium has almost completely evaporated. seekingalpha.com - 2 weeks ago
My Income Portfolio: In The Garden Of Eden Total Return can be misleading if not supported by NAV growth, as it may include unsustainable distributions and Return of Capital. Behavioral finance shows markets are irrational, making it crucial to consider practical aspects beyond theoretical Total Return calculations. I believe that NAV performance can affect our discretion in the reinvestment choices for the distributions we receive from our savings much more than Total Return. seekingalpha.com - 2 weeks ago

2 High-Yield BDCs To Navigate Volatility And Grow Your Income Market volatility and higher interest rates make BDCs attractive for income investors, with Bain Capital Specialty Finance and Carlyle Secured Lending offering strong dividend coverage and potential upside. Bain Capital Specialty Finance shows solid portfolio growth, strong dividend coverage, and a favorable P/NAV ratio, despite slight declines in net investment income and top-line revenue. Carlyle Secured Lending, despite recent declines, offers a compelling P/NAV ratio, solid liquidity, and strong dividend coverage, bolstered by a recent merger and investment-grade credit ratings. seekingalpha.com - 2 weeks ago

I'm Buying Up To 9% Yield For Recurring Income Market volatility and global trade uncertainties make income-focused investments crucial. ARCC, a leading BDC, benefits from first-lien senior secured loans, robust portfolio performance, and a strong balance sheet, offering a 9.4% yield. ARE specializes in life science properties, maintains a strong tenant base, and has a long debt maturity profile, offering a 7.2% yield. seekingalpha.com - 2 weeks ago
Ares Capital: A Golden Opportunity Ares Capital Corp. (ARCC) covered its dividend with net investment income and shifted its portfolio towards high-quality First Liens, maintaining robust credit quality. Despite recent BDC valuation drops, ARCC remains a 'Buy' due to a 1.04x NAV multiple and strong origination growth. Ares Capital Shares Decline 2.7% as Q1 Earnings Miss Estimates Weakness in gross commitments and lower portfolio exits hurt ARCC's Q1 earnings, while higher total investment income offers some support. zacks.com - 2 weeks ago
