I'm Collecting A 17% Yield By Holding TriplePoint Venture We love solid income generators, but we don't panic and run when one stumbles; we look to see improvements over the long run. TriplePoint Venture Growth BDC Corp. management has strung two good quarters together; let's dig into this most recent one. Income is a must for retirement; collect as much as you can. seekingalpha.com - 1 month ago
Dividend Power Dogs: 3 Top Dividend Picks For March Three top Dividend Power stocks, Golden Ocean, Diversified Energy, and Saratoga Investment Corp, offer "safer" dividends with free cash-flow yields exceeding dividend yields. The Dividend Power strategy focuses on high earnings yield and top dividend yield stocks, creating a resilient portfolio for both downturns and bull markets. Analysts predict significant net gains (39.97% to 168.6%) for the top ten Dividend Power stocks by March 2026, with an average net gain of 77.96%. seekingalpha.com - 1 month ago
The Moment Of Truth For BDC Dividend Investors Is Close As a structural BDC bull I have to admit that the period of BDCs consistently surprising us on the upside has come to an end. Many lower quality BDCs have already cut their dividends to sync their cash flows with less favorable private credit lending environment. I would say that the moment of truth for high quality BDCs is also very close, where we will see how really durable their base dividends are. seekingalpha.com - 1 month ago
TriplePoint Venture Growth: The Tide Hasn't Turned Yet TriplePoint Venture Growth's high dividend yield of 16.3% is tempting, but its portfolio's resilience is questionable amid rising non-accruals and declining NAV. Despite reduced debt levels, TPVG's Q4 earnings disappointed with a net investment income of $0.32 per share, missing estimates. The portfolio's concentration in consumer products and services poses risks, especially with ongoing economic uncertainties and higher inflation. seekingalpha.com - 1 month ago
TriplePoint Venture Growth: Is This 16% Yield A Red Flag? TriplePoint Venture Growth reported weaker-than-expected Q4 earnings due to high non-accruals, leading to a 5.4% decline in net asset value in Q4'24. TPVG's 16% yield is still covered by net investment income, and I am maintaining a buy rating for now. TPVG trades at a 16% discount to NAV due to poor balance sheet quality, significantly underperforming rivals Hercules Capital and Horizon Technology Finance. seekingalpha.com - 1 month ago
TriplePoint Venture Growth: When One Dividend Cut Is Not Enough I've maintained a bearish stance on TriplePoint Venture Growth (TPVG) since May 2024; the stock has declined ~20% since then. TPVG's dividend is unsustainable despite a recent cut; another dividend reduction is likely this year due to ongoing financial headwinds. In this article I discuss in more details why I remain skeptical on TPVG. seekingalpha.com - 1 month ago
9% Yields From Baby Bonds Yield to maturity is crucial in baby bond analysis. Yield to call can also be relevant when call risk is more relevant. We're starting with a hypothetical for demonstrating a key point, then we'll look at two baby bonds as they are trading today. Market inefficiencies can arise from liquidity issues, creating trading opportunities between similar preferred shares or baby bonds. seekingalpha.com - 1 month ago
